DESIGNING FOR CMS
We made full use of the brand colours to reflect nutritional theme and used striking background images to support the content topics. We also set out a consistent typographic styles to accommodate for the lengthy article titles and content hierarchy.
We developed an extensive styleguide for the Nestle affiliates to enable them to develop their own website content in their native language. It included guidance on image selection and character counts as well as the usage of the component library.
I have continued to provide art direction for the ongoing content updates to this website over the years. The client runs various initiatives like webinars, workshops and symposia which provides diverse content updates for the site.
My team and I design design this grid-based design to be responsive and worked closely with the internal development team to ensure technical feasibility throughout the duration of the project.
Initial page templates were designed and developed with flexibility in mind. We were then able to set out the various components and create a style guide for all the permutations of image and text content containers.
DESIGN & ARt Direction for CMS
The re-design of Nestle Nutrition Institute was based on the Umbraco CMS system. I was the lead art director for the project. We developed a grid-based design that was flexible and dynamic to enable personalised content to be served to individual users as well as giving them access to a plethora of archived content.
